Ok, Its Official now.

The next Armidale LAN has the following details:

Location: Smith House, Barney Street Armidale, NSW.
Date: 15th/16th of December, 12pm till 2am or later if you guys are still awake enough.
Cost: $10 which includes Entry, Pizza and soft-drinks.

I am also presently looking at restarting the Tournament system, so could Pepper please kindly bring the trophy back in since he was the previous champion. Considering the number of University students who are presently on holidays throughout the summer months, this will be a short season lasting until most probably February, with the main season starting most likely in March.

Possible Tournament Games:
-CS:S
-Supreme Commander
-Need For Speed: Pro Street
-Medal of Honour: Airbourne
-Call of Duty 4 (possible)
-Warcraft 3 (possibly DOTA or something else from Frozen Throne)

I have also organized for us to get some support from Tune FM in the way of advertising that the LAN is taking place and also in the way of a few CDs as prizes. While they can only sponsor us with CDs for this present LAN, after having an indepth discussion with Chris who is the new Station Manager @ TUNE, it looks like they are willing to support us in the long-term which could end up helping us quite a lot in regards to getting fresh blood into the local gaming scene and with organising larger prizes.

I am also looking at starting a few other competitions depending on the numbers of the people present. This could include a lucky-door prize.

Also there is a high level of interest comming from the neucleus of the old Inverell LAN party community in regards to attending events in Armidale. As a result of this, we should have a number of people attending from there as well.

Needless to say, the usual rules apply so any trouble will be dealt with an "Iron Grasp" from the LAN Administrators. Also as usual, this is a clean event since minors will be present, so no alcohol or the like either.

If Wiggy could also setup that website stuff that I was talking to him about previously, it would be great.

Sure Doaky, if you have a main website account (not your forum account) tell me its username like I asked. Either PM or SMS or msg it to me in WoW.

As it says in the first post, Fishy. However it will most likely start between 1pm and 2pm

I'll be there, prolly around 5:30-6ish. I wont have the beast with me to play much but will see what the lappy can run.
